Storylines

The DOCTOR [male - open]: The center of Rose's universe, the Doctor is charismatic, yet tortured, and Rose is completely under his spell. She trusts him, believes him, thinks the world of him, loves him deeply, and wants desperately to save him. In Rose the Doctor finds a friend, a confidant, a partner in crime, a kindred spirit, and one of the few people he's allowed himself to love.

The JACK [

pyroshock]: A cocky con-man who is quite possibly the sexiest man in the whole multiverse. Rose is strongly attracted to him, but also feels a deep protective affection. There's a broken man beneath that bravado: Rose sees it, and the Jack knows it. They can be themselves around each other, and are close allies, perhaps even occasional lovers.

The MICKEY [male/female - open]: This person wants in on the intense experiences Rose shares with the Doctor, and also wants a piece of Rose's affections. Although Rose likes the Mickey, she doesn't feel the same way about them as they feel about her, and she can be jealously protective of her time with the Doctor, wanting him all to herself. She feels bad about this, because she really truly does like the Mickey, and aside from romantic matters, they're fairly strong allies.

The JACKIE [male/female - open]: A parental figure who doesn't always approve of what Rose does, but is always willing to take her in. The Jackie worries about Rose getting hurt, and worries about losing her.

The DALEK [male/female - open]: An adversary that Rose fears, the Dalek stands for everything Rose fights against... domination, destruction, death.

	I would love for John to be the Doctor. :) I thought of putting him down, but I didn't want to presume. One question, though... do you think it would interfere with what he has going with Dib? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

It's all terribly complex, isn't it?! But... John is completely all over the place with his emotions/relationship etc. I suppose that's the wonderful thing about it being a mental institute setting - he can swing between loving the two of them with an absolute carelessness that wouldn't be available in 'normal' life.

I did have a little thought that maybe Rose could fill his Martha SL (I have Dib filling Rose), the idea that she is falling for him a lot more, if you know what I mean? John doesn't really know what he's doing - he's probably going to end up really hurting one or both of them, without really understanding what he's done. Very Doctorish, actually!

Bah. I feel a bit bad that we never got to speak much after I applied to Cheshire and subsequently defaulted of my own doing. Life became a tad mad for a while. In any event, that doesn't mean we can't do something on the side if you're itching for some Doctor/Rose. They might not be locked up in a mental ward, but you know--all of time and space and that, sure they could find something to amuse themselves with. ♥

Haven't the foggiest, at least not off the top of my head. I can tell you what I'm not interested in doing at the moment. Ten II storylines have pretty much killed my brain at this point, so I'd rather not for the time being. Post-S4 is a smidgen over done, but I'm willing to give it a shot, perhaps delve deeper into what could have happened were the meta-crisis not to have happened and Rose to have stayed behind in proper Earth with the proper Doctor.

Maybe go post-episode AU, I dunno. Do you want something dark and angsty or light and fluffy? Honestly, I'm a little rubbish with the happy-happy, I prefer the edgier stuff. Your go, throw an idea at me.

Lessee :) I'm a romantic, but definitely a dark and angsty one, so edgy story lines are fine by me. Ten II doesn't really interest me much, nor really alternate endings for season 4. I've done tons of reunion scenes in rps, and while they're lovely and heartbreaking, something different would be nice. Doing an "unfilmed episode" sort of story line pre-Canary Wharf might be nice...

How about something along these lines: the Doctor and Rose go to visit a great city the Doc is always raving about. When they exit the ship, however, they find a desert, not a building in sight, no sign of life. This baffles the Doctor, he's sure there should be a city here. What's happened, though, is that the inhabitants have been experimenting with time manipulation, and accidentally phased the whole city just a split second out of sync. They're convinced they need the essence of a Time Lord to fix it, and they snatch Rose to hold her ransom until the Doctor gives them what they want, which may well kill him.

Thoughts?
